Position Description:

The Morrow and Uzun Laboratories seek a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate/fellow with experience in computational and/or statistical genetics and a strong publication record. This position will focus on research involving the genetics of autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders.

Candidates wanted with a strong training and background in computational genetics/genomics, statistical genetics and an ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as a part of an active research group. PhD degree in Computational Biology/Genetics, Statistical Genetics, Genetic Epidemiology or Psychology or related field is required. Programming skills, such as in Perl or Python, and R are desired. Experience in the Next Generation Sequencing data (whole exome, RNA-seq) analysis is preferred. Experience and/or interest in the genetics of neurodevelopmental disorders or psychiatric disorders is important.

The Morrow and Uzun Labs are housed in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary Carney Institute for Brain Science and the Center for Computational Molecular Biology (CCMB) at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
