
11 Jul Postdocs – Alzheimer’s Disease
Two postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratories of Hui Zheng and Wei Cao in the Huffington Center on Aging at Baylor College of Medicine. Successful applicants will join a highly dynamic research group with excellent track-record and rich resources in Alzheimer’s disease research. Examples of recent publications include Martini-Stocia et al., J. Exp. Med. 2018; Litvinchuk et al., Neuron 2018; Xu et al., Autophagy 2019. The individuals will work on projects funded by multiple NIH grants, including the autophagy-lysosomal pathway, neuron-glia signaling and neuroinflammation in aging and Alzheimer’s disease, using novel mouse models and multidisciplinary approaches. Successful applicants should have expertise in molecular and cellular biology, immunology, neurobiology and mouse modeling. Previous experience with bioinformatics, flow cytometry, microscopy, or stereology is a plus.
