BioBeats’s current remit is to provide psychological and physiological intelligence that can support organisations in tracking the wellbeing of their workforce in real-time, and to help them foster mental wellbeing.

Founded in 2013, BioBeats has developed revolutionary AI algorithms and software based on evidence-based stress management to target wellbeing in the workplace, with investments from Samsung NEXT and backed by Will Smith.

We are currently looking for a mid-level or senior iOS developer to meet our growing system implementation and extension needs.

In this role you will be required to:

• • Proven work experience as a Mobile developer
  • Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Familiarity with OOP design principles
  • Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to perform in a team environment
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • Write clean code following good software engineering practices
  • Create and update features using XCode, Objective-C and Swift 4
  • Collaborate with our product manager and designers to spec, build, test and deploy new features
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Use the MVC and MVVM pattern
  • Use Cocoapods and Git
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have:

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience developing iOS applications in Objective-C and Swift
  • Experience developing Android applications in Java and Kotlin
  • Proven software development experience
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
  • Solid understanding of iOS app cycle, UIKit, Autolayout, CoreData, CoreAnimation
  • Understanding of async and concurrent programming, dispatch queues, critical sections and semaphores
  • Optional, but strongly appreciated, knowledge of Typescript.
  • English language proficiency essential
