JOB TITLE: Technical Analyst Intermediate

JOB SUMMARY:

With limited management direction, analyzes and responds to user requested new development and system modifications. Designs technical solutions to information problems. With occasional assistance from Technical Analysts – Senior, or Lead, develops project plans and estimates. Performs technical tasks related to project completion, including problem analysis, program development and testing, documentation, and implementation. May function as the primary I.T. user contact for GHS departments or divisions. Performs project management and coordination functions.

Works under the supervision of the Director, Program Director or management designate.

SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES:

Member of the UDA Data Management Operations Support Team – 1st or 2nd Tier (depending on experience). Prior Application and Database support experience preferred – including patching, upgrades, troubleshooting. Server Administration experience also a plus.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Demonstrated the ability to be a good team player yet able to organize daily tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated the ability to be customer service oriented with a courteous and pleasant demeanor and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; or technical diploma / technical certification in a field related to the position required. Minimum of three years of full time experience in a related information technology/application/usersupport role required.

OR

In lieu of degree or certification, minimum of six years of full time experience in a related information technology/application/user support role required.
