Job Summary
The University of Michigan, Department of Otolaryngology is seeking a full-time postdoctoral position available to join a dynamic team that includes basic and translational scientists, audiologists, and surgeons. The position will involve running an NIH-Brain-Initiative funded clinical trial to test an innovative treatment paradigm with adult tinnitus subjects at the Kresge Hearing Research Institute. Responsibilities include psychophysical, electrophysiological and psychosocial testing under approved research protocols and pre- and post-treatment assessment. Responsibilities will also include subject recruitment and coordination, audiological testing, maintenance of research and clinical records and participation in the analysis, interpretation and presentation of research results.

Required Qualifications*

- Au.D. and some clinical experience working with patients with tinnitus is required. The applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
- Current licensure as an Audiologist from the state of Michigan is necessary.
Desired Qualifications*

- Ph.D. in a hearing-related field and previous research experience is highly desirable. Certification of Clinical Competence in Audiology, awarded by the American Speech and Hearing Association is desirable.
