McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time non-tenure research track Instructor position in the Department of Neurosurgery.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care health through high-level responsibilities: research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other service.

Key responsibilities include application of standard statistical methods for conducting descriptive and inferential analyses, modeling, and reporting. Provide professional support to research studies in basic and clinical sciences to include data collection, assistance in the establishment of data collection instruments and protocol, data management, and collaborate with IT programmers to develop and maintain statistical database.

The Rank of Instructor in Neurosurgery will primarily cover research, teaching, clinical service, administrative and other activities.
