WHAT TO EXPECT
In the course of planning and conducting medical treatments, access to patient data is essential and various DICOM data is acquired, transmitted and stored. This medical data is, partially automated via HL7, imported to our software applications, where it is enhanced with additional contents and exported for further use.
As a member of our Patient Data Management team, your main tasks will be:

- Responsibility for designing, developing, testing and maintaining various software products in the area of DICOM data management
- Implementation of features mainly in C++
- Contribution to technical documentation
- Working closely together with other teams, such as Project Engineers and QM colleagues
With your creativity and your professional, independent approach to work you will make a large contribution to the success of not only the individual project, but also to the overall Brainlab world of medical products – from the first idea to market release.
WHAT YOU OFFER
-
- a solid theoretical knowledge of software development, based on an education or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related discipline
- practical experience in software engineering, ideally with modern C++
- first experience with DICOM and related data formats/technologies (optional topics are HL7, HIS, IHE)
- fluent English skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues in an international team
