Job overview:

The Audiologist is responsible for all the commercial activity of Otometrics in LATAM, maintaining a high level of product knowledge among our distribution partners through training, product installations, trade shows and other customer facing events.

Duties and Responsibilities in this job:

• • Acquire and maintain the highest possible level of product handling (product super user) combined with the ability to train others.
  • Responsible for training and certifying relevant sales and audiology staff of our distribution partners, including development and execution of regional training programs and development of training and presentation materials. Training can be both in the form of formal sales & product training events and smaller product trainings to individual distribution partners, KOLs or end users.
  • Participate in Master Training around Latin America.
  • Sales oriented: Ability to visit customers, take care of sales orders and pricelists, build and implement the sales strategy.
  • Be strong in negotiations.
  • Responsible for providing ad hoc support to distribution partners, e.g. in the case of product installations and other technical and educational questions.
  • Relationship building with distribution partners, customers and KOLs.
  • Collect knowledge about competitors in the whole LATAM market.
  • Coordinate and execute Otometrics’ participation in relevant regional industry events, congresses and trade shows and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Stay up to date and follow all Quality System procedures related to the job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.

Travel required: Extensive

Our ideal candidate will have the following desired qualifications and skills:

• • Degree in Audiology (B.A. as a minimum)
  • At least 3 years of experience in same responsibilities, focusing on sales
  • Practical experience with hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting
  • Experience with balance assessment is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
