Roles & Responsibilities:

• • Successful candidate will be expected to be technically proficient and accurate; effectively communicate in both written reports and presentations; and possess attention to detail
  • Collect, analyze and report on experimental data; create and maintain accurate and timely records of test results and protocol design
  • Assist in the publication of research findings; participate in meetings with Principle Investigator to evaluate and interpret the validity of data. Prepare progress reports and presentations
  • Must have experience on the following lab’s techniques: immunofluorescence, QPCR, western blots, animal experiments (mouse colony maintenance, tumor cell injections, treatments), migration and clonogenic assays, molecular biology techniques (maxi-preps, restriction enzymes).

Requirements:

• • Education: Requires master’s degree in a related field
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience (preferably in an academic setting). Must be willing to work flexible hours as necessary
  • Appropriate verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
