NeoSensory uses patented technology to non-invasively expand the brain’s sensory capacity. Our wearable devices take in novel information streams and translate them into spatial patterns of vibration — think of it like AR that operates through the skin instead of the eyes. With practice, the brain learns to understand this information at a direct perceptual level. Our first product is a wristband (the Buzz) that turns sound into patterns of vibration on the skin, with use cases from hearing loss to music entertainment. Our team is dedicated to making a meaningful social impact with our non-invasive, affordable, transformative technology. An overview of our technology can be seen in our TED talk: ted.com/talks/david_eagleman_can_we_create_new_senses_for_humans.
