PROJECT ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER – SURGICAL ROBOTIC APPLICATIONS
WHAT TO EXPECT
For our growing R&D Robotic Applications Division we are looking for a new Project Engineer / Project Manager. You will be part of a growing and motivated team that enables novel robotic surgical procedures in the field of neurosurgery, trauma surgery and orthopedics. Your work includes the complete development cycle of medical devices, from the inception of new concepts over to their implementation up to the clinical assessment of the performance of the resulting device. Your contribution has an impact on daily work in hospitals around the world.
Your tasks include:

- Develop medical components for spinal and cranial procedures
- Clinical evaluation & validation
- Communication with suppliers, development partners, manufacturers and other internal teams (QM, QA, Usability, Purchasing, Legal)
- Take own area of responsibility within the project
- Identify, establish and drive cooperation with international external partners on system, component and service level
- Perform and/or coordinate functional tests of medical devices
- Create complete technical documentation acc. to international and company standards
- Maintenance activities for documentation of existing medical products
WHAT YOU OFFER

- Education in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
- Previous experience in the design of mechanical devices with at least medium complexity
- Experience with technical documentation for medical devices
- Clinical knowledge in areas of spinal and cranial procedures
- Fluent written and spoken English, German is a strong plus
- Well organized and clearly structured working style
- High documentation quality standards
- Good communication skills
