21 Jan PostDoc – Multi-modal Imaging of Neural Circuits
One postdoctoral position is available for interested recent PhDs at the intersection of Electrical Engineering and Neuroscience.
The position will focus on simultaneous multi-photon imaging and electrophysiology experiments in rodents using new neural interface technologies. Previous experience with in vivo 2-photon imaging and imaging/recording data analysis is required. This position will provide a great opportunity to neuroscience PhDs to expand their research interests into various new neurotechnologies and gain experience in design, development of new neurotechnologies in an interdisciplinary research group.
We are looking for highly self-motivated and independent scholars with a passion for technology and neuroscience. The position will provide a unique interdisciplinary training for the fellow and opportunity to closely collaborate with researcher from UCSD Electrical Engineering and Neuroscience. The fellow will work under the supervision of Professor Duygu Kuzum (http://neuroelectronics.ucsd.edu/). The fellow is expected to work well in a collaborative environment and also supervise PhD and masters students involved in the project. The expected starting time is Fall or Winter 2019-2020.
