Your Role and Responsibilities

    • The primary responsibility of this position is to lead, manage, and coordinate the activities of HMC’s Development Site in Fridley, MN
    • Guide and direct the management team in the execution of HMC initiatives, strategy deployment, and operational organization.
    • Responsible for continually improving the Customer Experience (Cx) through partnering the leaders across functional lines, developing a customer centric mindset to successfully execute on projects.
    • Direct the preparation of short-term and long-term plans and budgets and capital plans in accordance with HMC and business requirements.
    • Ensure business and project reporting is available to business leaders to allow effective and timely decision making in the best interest of the business.
    • Assure procedures and controls are in place to promote communication and optimal information flow within the organization.
    • Ensure that the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.

 

What is Required for this Role:

    • You must be a dynamic leader that is able to effectively promote collaboration, instill Engineering excellence practices, be a leader of change management and team work throughout the site.
    • Technical degree and 15+ year’s industry relevant experience, including design and manufacturing of finished devices.
    • Demonstrated consistent growth in leadership roles ideally in global organization within a subsidiary or plant. Experience within a multi-product, device history process, fast paced, technical manufacturing environment required.
    • Understanding within FDA and CE regulated environment, thorough demonstrated understanding within ISO13485 certified organization required. M&A due diligence and integration experience a plus.
    • Proficiency in design and manufacturing of medical devices with a strong focus on catheter, guidewires or neuromodulation leads.
    • Distinguished through consistent display of leadership by example, often observed in a servant leader style of management. Ability to anticipate and practice participative management style.
    • Ability to think with a customer perspective; understanding the best methods to drive a distinctive customer experience
