Position Summary:

As the Product Manager you will work closely with product, sales team, engineering, marketing and operations teams to help define, develop, promote, commercially deliver products. Overall, you are responsible for the management and success of the Company’s products.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

    • Oversight of full product life cycle, from ideation to delivery to user
    • Create business cases to provide recommendations for the one-to-two year product development and portfolio maintenance plans through detailed analysis of the market(s), the competitive landscape and customer needs
    • Work with technology development team and QA to understand technology builds from conception to execution, attending stand ups and sprint planning
    • Plan and coordinate release schedules for products
    • Develop technical requirements from market requirements
    • Understand user and market needs through market research (surveys, interviews, focus groups, data analysis, etc.)
    • Provide revenue forecasts for proposed new products, as well as quarterly forecasts for existing products at various stages of the product life cycle, to guide new product development decisions, sales and inventory planning projections
    • Set a vision for the user experience as well as technical flow of the product
    • Work with sales, reimbursement, clinical, regulatory, service, quality, sales training, and marketing teams to identify, quantify, and document new product requirements and manage key initiatives to drive product growth
    • Assist in product definition, roadmap and commercialization strategy in collaboration with development teams
    • Research competitive landscape of products and features
    • Work with the tech team to define the key R&D projects to drive growth and market position in assigned products and/or markets
    • Develop go to market approach based on business model and growth strategy
    • Understand market adoption and growth potential of the product
    • Work with marketing and sales teams to define the go-to-market strategy, helping define product positioning, key benefits, and target customers
    • Work with marketing to create marketing materials including creation of product demos and sales training
    • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers
    • Monitor product in the market through post market surveillance analytics
    • Develop business case and financial model development (including industry, market, and opportunity analysis)
    • Oversee Human Factors and conduct usability studies and end-user testing
    • Define success metrics for features or services and track performance
    • Monitor the success or challenges of new products into the market based on objectives and make ongoing recommendations to achieve these objectives
    • Perform analysis on newly released features using usage metrics and customer feedback

 

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
    • 2+ years software, technology, program or product management experience preferred
    • A passionate customer advocate
    • Ability to establish and manage projects and initiatives against a set of key metrics and goals
    • Demonstrated experience using testing methods (A/B, focus groups) to evolve products and/or marketing campaign performance
    • Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities: with technical and non-technical audience
    • Willingness to roll up the sleeves and engage in any activity to complete the product
    • Owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive
    • Ability to have fun and inspire the team
    • Eager to learn new technologies
    • Be able to work with Atlassian Jira, confluence tools
    • Passionate about bringing big, creative ideas to market
    • Experience working with developers, engineers and their communities
    • Ability to lead and influence people and align diverse teams to a common goal
    • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced and agile development environment
    • Willingness to think outside the box and act both strategically and tactically
    • Demonstrated ability to work closely with KOLs to gain key marketing insights and/or develop brand/therapeutic area
    • Some understanding of product positioning and value proposition to suit the market is preferred
