Aether Biomedical is a medical robotics company focused on biosignal processing and bionic limbs for upper limb amputees. We are a small team aiming to make a big impact on a bionic prosthetics market. We are growing fast, and so we are looking for new software developers that will help us to bring our products to the market. You can see our prosthesis in action in this video

About you

• • You are looking to join a fast growing team as core member with a long term vision of having an impact on the disabled community.
  • You are passionate about programming. If you can, show us a portfolio of your projects
  • You have experience with machine learning, preferably applied to processing the EMG signals. It would be great if you also had experience in implementing it in embedded systems.
  • You care about the quality of your code.
  • You like to learn and you like to share your knowledge.
  • Our team is multinational, so you need to communicate in English easily
  • You are self motivated

Your role

You will be responsible for developing an EMG signals processing software that will make the prosthesis control as easy and intuitive as possible, using pattern recognition methodology.

Job location

Although, our preference is a full time position in Poznan, Poland we do not believe in geographic restrictions. You can also be based out of Berlin or Warsaw or any other place where you can agree to come to Poznan for a couple days in a month and take charge of the development at your end.

Remuneration

As a startup, we can promise you a high growth potential for your position as the company grows.  For now, we are interested in providing 3000 – 4000 Euros per month as a cash compensation and 2 – 5% in equity stock, of course depending on the mutual discussions.
