Account Executive, Entertainment

 

The Account Executive, Entertainment is a compelling, energized salesperson who is creative and highly motivated to build and foster significant strategic relationships with the c-suites and leaders of the most impactful brands in the entertainment industry. Working at the forefront of audience analytics, streaming media and adaptive entertainment, the Account Executive, Entertainment thinks together with customers and merges their business vision with Arctop product pipelines to enable market-making innovations that leave competitors far behind.

Through business acumen and strategic focus the Account Executive, Entertainment plays a key role in making Arctop products essential to partners and scaling up their use of Arctop’s real-time platform. The dynamic content testing marketplace (“GTN”) created by Arctop is shaped by the Account Executive’s understanding of client needs, insight into competitor’s offerings, and the ability to execute and persuade across global markets in Gaming, Music, TV, and Movies. This position is full-time based in San Francisco, California.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Drive revenue by navigating the customer buying process, engaging stakeholders and ultimately securing signed agreements (i.e. own the sales cycle from qualified lead to close).
    • Direct business strategy by understanding the customers’ business, business strategy and industry direction and manage a long term, sustainable business portfolio.
    • Maintain accurate, effective forecasts and deal records within the CRM.
    • Draft commercial terms, pricing proposals and manage the contract process. Research and create your own opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with studios, artists and other prospects and accounts.
    • Develop and execute a lead generation and outbound plan to build sales pipeline.
    • Seamlessly transition new clients to Account Management teams with complete requirements and documentation to ensure successful delivery.
    • Contribute to the product roadmap evolution by identifying and representing customer pain points and opportunities that improve existing products and create new opportunities.
    • Expand strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer and to deliver business outcomes.
    • Disrupt outdated mindsets by articulating joint business plans and business opportunities to partners that showcase Arctop’s unique value proposition.

 

Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred; or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years track record of exceeding sales targets.
    • Experience selling to brands, studios and/or publishers.
    • A passion for selling SaaS solutions with excellent communication and presentation skills; able to win the confidence of any audience.
    • Experience building strategic business partnerships through selling or consulting with enterprise customers.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with commercial models (including, but not limited to, portfolio management, P&L ownership, business planning).
    • Strong selling, negotiating and closing skills.
    • Natural enthusiasm to adopt new technology.
    • An industry mastery of any kind (i.e. Entertainment, Training, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Automotive, Media, etc.). Entertainment is preferred.

 

Preferred Requirements:

    • Knowledgeable about current approaches to consumer research, audience insights, and focus groups and can speak to the market of emotional intelligence applications within the entertainment industry.
    • A customer centred approach and a humanistic worldview.
    • Ability to travel extensively, although it may not always be required.

 

Compensation
