SOFTWARE ENGINEER – SURGICAL ROBOTICS

WHAT TO EXPECT

Medineering, a part of the Brainlab Group, is a technological driver for novel surgical robotic systems. We combine minimally invasive surgery with the art of engineering to facilitate user’s existing needs and to provide new possibilities and functionalities for tomorrow. For our multi-disciplinary team consisting of software engineers, project engineers as well as hardware designers, we are looking for a motivated Software Engineer, who contributes positively to our existing culture and is passionate about developing advanced surgical technologies.

As a Software Engineer in this role, you will

• be involved in the development process from the very first idea until the final product launch
• use your programming skills in C to create embedded software modules that control a robotic system
• document and verify the development
• work closely with your international colleagues from different departments

WHAT YOU OFFER

• You have an education in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
• Experience in working with C on embedded systems
• Basic knowledge of working with version control systems
• Basic knowledge of git, gitlab, KiCAD, python, node.js and Linux
• You want to be part of a high-skilled team and make a difference with your code every day
• Fluent English, eagerness to learn German and ability to communicate with colleagues from all around the world and different areas of specialty complete your profile
