Job Description

You will be responsible for rendering QMENTA’s neuroimaging platform simple and beautiful. Some main tasks will include you to be responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.

You are a developer with strong technical skills, passion for creating solutions for complex problems, and feeling comfortable in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be highly evaluated.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Preferably, 5+ years of experience as a software developer
• Expert in JavaScript and web technologies, including React
• Solid portfolio demonstrating modern design savviness
• Experience with web analytics tools, performance tuning and browser compatibility
• Implements test driven development methodologies
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Advanced English skills (oral and written)
• A can-do attitude and passion for web technologies
• Great attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Python or other programming languages
• Experience with automation of manual tests using Jenkins, Puppeteer, …
• Development and maintenance of REST based interfaces
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product/UX designer, project managers, back-end engineers, and scientific engineers to implement effective front-end solutions
• Define, document, test and communicate the front-end architecture
• Contribute to the back-end and its APIs if needed
• Write JavaScript (React), HTML and well structured CSS/SCSS
• Investigate server side interactions
