CIVO Post-doctoral Fellow

We are looking for a post-doctoral associate to work with an interdisciplinary team on projects in the Center for Innovation in Vision and Optics (CIVO) at UC Berkeley.

The ideal candidate would have expertise in graphics, visual psychophysics, and visual optics. He/she would have experience in developing software/hardware in custom apparatus. Please refer to the CIVO website for more information: https://civo.berkeley.edu.

There are currently 10 CIVO faculty members in the departments of Vision Science, Optometry, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Information Science. Funding is from industrial partners, so projects involve interactions with engineers and scientists in high-tech companies. The position is for an initial appointment of one year with renewal for another year or two depending on satisfactory performance.
