iOS SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Thought Technology is currently seeking an iOS Software Developer to join our Product Development team.

Starting Date: Immediately

Hourly Wage: To be Discussed

Under the supervision of the Product Development Director, your responsibilities will be:

• Translate high-level product requirements into technical software specifications.
• Create design documentation, implement and test software used for medical applications.
• Participate in project planning activities and provide work time estimates.
• Collaborate with the QA team to review, investigate, troubleshoot, and fix bugs.
• Work with the Hardware team to ensure proper integration between the software and hardware.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• 3+ years of experience in iOS development using Swift, and XCode.
• Experience with OOP and multi-threaded applications programming.
• Experience with push notifications, ARC.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services, JSON, SQL.
• Experience with publishing application on the Apple App Store.
• Experience with an Agile or DevOps development model.
• Strong team player, customer focused, respectful, and collaborative professional.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Assets:

• Swift UI.
• Objective-C.
• Amazon Cloud services. AwsMobileCloud.
• Android development with Java/Kotlin.
• C++, C#, .NET, HTML5, Azure Cloud development.

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree.
