
07 Mar PostDoc – Cortical Dynamics Underlying Vocal Production
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoc in the field of animal behavior and neuroscience to study the cortical dynamics underlying vocal production in minipigs. This work will combine the design of behavioral experiments in freely behaving animals recorded with wireless technology and the analysis of the corresponding vocal and electrophysiological (large-scale electrocorticographic and intracortical) recordings.
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a field related to vocal production and experimental and computational neuroscience. He/she will possess a solid background in applied mathematics, signal processing, computer programming (Matlab, C++), and machine learning ideally applied to neural data. Proficient English is mandatory, as well as at least one first author publication.
The position is now open until fulfilled for a duration of 2 years.
Salary is commensurate with experience (typically 30,000 – 40,000 €/year).
Location: Grenoble, France.
