BrainCo’s wearable devices detect the subtle electrical signals coming out of the brain in order to infer various cognitive states. With this data we’re building applications to improve outcomes in education, fitness, wellness, and research settings.
Role – Account Executive
We are currently looking for an Account Executive to work in our US Team in order to further expand our market position.
As an Account Executive, you’ll be on the front lines hunting for new customers and growing our existing client base. You’ll be using your consulting skills to identify customer challenges and provide solutions with our products and services.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about our products and will communicate this in conversations with our clients. Furthermore, a top candidate will:
- Never give up and have strong follow-through habits
- Be relentless about cold and warm calling to make sales and keep customers happy
- Be comfortable speaking, influencing, and negotiating with all different types of people, and able to adapt his/her approach to different situations
- Have the drive to meet or exceed challenging sales targets
- Want to make a difference, something which will be the hallmark of the sales approach we expect
Responsibilities
- Be on the front lines hunting for our new customers and growing our existing client base.
- Use consulting skills to identify customer challenges and provide solutions with our products and services.
- Leverage your passion and drive to deliver solutions to provide clients impact
- Identify and pursue new sales leads.
- Help current and potential customers fall in love with our products and services
- Close/Finalize sales and agreements
- Follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and help/identify solutions if need be
- Participate in sales forecasting and track progress
- Ensure proper customer training re purchased products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel.
- Eligibility to pass Motor Vehicle Records check
Additional (non-mandatory) skills
- Experience working with technology in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment
- Demonstrated ability to influence through relationships, expertise and information
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to adjust your message to suit the audience
- Experience in selling to the education and/or fitness verticals
- Background with wearables
Conditions
- Base pay 30-50k per year plus generous commissions
- Travel 50-70% of the time (mostly domestic in US)
