Job Description

The T. Lee group at Janelia Research Campus seeks a highly motivated scientist to join us in studying brain development and evolution, in particular the genetic basis of neural type specification and diversification.

We develop sophisticated genetic tools to track neuronal cell lineages. We aim to resolve the mechanisms that drive neuron diversity. We are extending our efforts from Drosophila to include zebrafish and mouse.

Requirements:

• A keen interest in brain development and evolution.
• Ph.D. in developmental/genomic biology or related fields.
• Experience in vertebrate model organisms.
