Senior IT Systems Engineer

WHAT TO EXPECT
As an Senior IT Systems Engineer in our Team IT Infrastructure, you are responsible to take care of the storage components and backup/recovery components in an enterprise environment used at Brainlab. With your Know how you will be responsible for the cloud integration/migration. Are you generalist, technologically adept who has already gained some experience in a corporate environment?Then you are right with us!

Your main tasks are:

• Development of a roadmap for Storage and Backup (NetApp, Commvault)
• Administration and configuration of our NetApp Infrastructure
• Administration of our Backup/Restore infrastructure and processes
• Cloud transformation regarding Storage and Backup environment (AWS)
• Coordination of external consulting partner
• Team collaboration regarding Storage and Backup
• Proactive system management and maintenance

WHAT YOU OFFER

• A degree in computer science or an equivalent technical education, such as in the networking and communications technologies
• Enthusiasm for new technology with a passion for computers and machines
• Very good experience with NetApp SnapDrive, SnapManager or Commvault products
• Good Cloud architecture know how in Amazon AWS or MS Azure
• Experience in network topologies
• Awareness in IT security
• Advanced English and German skills
• Ability to work independently
