Research Assistant

The IU Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab includes professional staff, graduate students, and undergraduate research assistants. Opportunities are available for undergraduate research assistants to assist in the testing of infant, toddler, and adult participants, the creation of new video and computer-generated stimuli, coding of digitally recorded behavioral data, statistical analysis of behavioral and electrophysiological data, and computational modeling of the data.

Most positions are for part-time undergraduate students who receive three credit hours for working 10 hours/week. Applicants for these positions need not necessarily have any previous research experience, but programming experience is a huge asset. Programming is required at most stages of the research process, from setting up experiments on eye-trackers or designing computerized coding systems to analyzing data.
