Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct research trials involving human subjects
• Assist with trials run by partners and external organizations
• Analyze data from a variety of sources and communicate results to the appropriate teams across the company
• Maintain laboratory and study documents/equipment
• Answer scientific questions from customers and marketing team
• Help with a variety of projects on an as needed basis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a biological science, neuroscience or related field from a top tier university
• Experience in running human-based research trials is a plus
• Knowledge of research study design and statistical analysis
• Curiosity to dive into unfamiliar topics and the ability to master them quickly
• Self-starter who operates best in a small dynamic team
• Familiarity with general computer savviness

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of neuro-optimization and human performance through academic coursework or individual pursuits
• Familiarity with neuroscience, neuromodulation, and/or medical devices
• Experience in Python, R, Matlab, SQL, etc.
• Experience in scientific publication or grants writing is a plus
