Open Position as PostDoc (University Assistant)

We are looking for a PostDoc with a background Neural Engineering / Brain-Computer Interfaces:

1 open position of a University Assistant with PhD for 4 years, 40 hours/week, expected from 1st of October 2020, at the Institute of Neural Engineering.

Admission requirements:

• PhD in Information & Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable studies.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience in biosignal processing, feature extraction and pattern recognition / machine learning; knowledge in source localization based on multi-channel EEG recordings; experience in neural engineering (e.g. Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), neuroprosthetics, etc).
• Very good knowledge of English and ability to work in a team; experience in writing scientific publications and proposals.
• International experience.
• Holding of courses.
• Willingness for mobility (work in international projects, conferences, etc).

Salary classification:

B 1 according to collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this position is currently € 3.889,50 gross (14 times per year).
