Tasks

• Design and implement a centralized software to facilitate data acquisition (from multiple devices and in different formats), labelling, analysis (in collaboration with data scientists), storage and recovery for internal use by our researcher.
• Design a public mobile application for our customers to control and monitor several konikore devices wirelessly in collaboration with hardware/firmware engineer accordingly.
• Constantly build out the system with new features to keep up with a growing company, and additional user requirements.
• Work closely with the laboratory automation scientist to ensure system compliance and ease of use.
• Maintain all technical documentation and version control information for the current system and future software upgrades.

Qualifications and skills

• B.S. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Mastery of software and app oriented languages such as Java, Python, etc …
• Strong knowledge of database programming and management (e.g. MySql) and GUI/UX development.
• Past experience in IoT development, with good knowledge of firmware language such as C.
• Familiarity with statistical algorithms and data management/analysis in the biomedical or the life sciences sector.
• You are a noted creative and critical thinker. An effective team player with excellent oral communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You have a can do attitude.
