About us:

Aether Biomedical is a medical robotics company focused on biosignal processing and bionic limbs for upper limb amputees. We are aiming to make a big impact on a bionic prosthetics market. We are growing fast, and so we are looking for new software developers that will help us to bring our products to the market. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate individual. This is a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment requiring quick learning, agility, and flexibility.

 

Required skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Signal Processing (through personal or commercial projects)
  • Hands-on experience in scientific programming in Python (numpy, scipy, sklearn, matplotlib, pandas, jupyter notebooks) and statistics
  • Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures and algorithms
  • Readiness to work in a startup environment
  • Readiness to work with scientific literature related to sEMG
  • Our team is multinational, so you need to communicate in English easily

 

Preferred skills:

  • Experience working with EMG, EEG or any other biological real time data
  • Experience with machine learning, preferably applied to processing the EMG signals.
  • Experience in desktop application development (preferably Qt or PyQt)
  • Interest in Neuroscience or Biology
  • Programming experience of C/C++ is a plus

Location: Although our preference is Poznan, Poland, a remote position is also an option.

 

Duration of the internship: 3 to 6 months with an opportunity to continue on a full time position
