We are currently seeking for a full stack developer/data engineer to strengthen our engineer team. You will be in charge of interfacing our various frameworks like mobile app, online game, virtual reality games. You will work in pairs with our future Lead Data Scientist.

About Open Mind Neurotechnologies

Open Mind Neurotechnologies (Open Mind) is a 4-year-old French startup dedicated to wellness and healthcare applications of virtual reality (VR) and quantitative neurophysiology for the general public. Its first service offers a 360-degree assessment of individual mental wellbeing. It uses a combination of psychometric questionnaires with physiological and behavioral measurements taken during an immersive experience in VR to quantify several dimensions of mental health in a dynamical approach. Open Mind gathers a multidisciplinary team of 15 people including 4 PhDs. The scientific team includes data scientists, experimental researchers and psychologists, as well as software engineers. The creative studio team includes game developers and programmers specialized in VR as well as graphic and sound designers. Through partnerships with clinical and academic institutions in applied research and product development, Open Mind aims at transforming the mental health framework by creating new avenues, within and beyond healthcare, to maximize the duration of a healthy, functional and meaningful living.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the data infrastructure and their APIs and extend it for wide usage across the organization.
• Implement algorithms from the data scientists for offline and online applications
• Develop tools to ease and simplify clinical-grade data collection protocols.
• Collaborate with developers and scientists in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Contribute to open-source frameworks used throughout the organization for data collection, data and metadata management, and data transformation.
• Collaborate with developers and scientists in a multi-disciplinary team.

Skills & Experience Required
The followings are not strictly required, inspiration and motivation are by far the best requirements so come and apply !

• 2+ years experience
• High proficiency in Python & Javascript
• Knowledge of web technologies like Vue.js
• GCP
• Familiarity with command-line tools on a unix-based environment (Linux or OSX)
• English
