Account Executive for Education Sales (STEM)

 

BrainCo’s wearable devices detect the subtle electrical signals coming out of the brain in order to infer various cognitive states. With this data, we’re building applications to improve outcomes in education, fitness, wellness, and research settings.

 

Role – Account Executive for Education Sales (STEM)

We are currently looking for an Account Executive for Education Sales (STEM) to work in our US Team in order to further expand our market position.

You’ll be on the front lines hunting for our new customers and growing our existing client base. You’ll use your consulting skills to identify customer challenges and provide solutions with our products and services. You’ll use your passion and drive to deliver solutions that will amaze our customers:

  • Identifying and pursuing new sales leads.
  • Helping our customers fall in love with our products and services.
  • Closing sales and agreements.
  • Following up to make sure our customers stay happy—and to see how else we can help.
  • Forecasting sales and tracking progress.
  • Ensuring customers are trained on purchased products.
  • Successful completion of motor vehicle report check is required.

  • You have a passion for the products you sell and this is evident to everyone you talk to. You’re the type of person who never gives up and has strong follow-through.
  • You are relentless about cold and warm calling to make sales and keep customers happy.
  • You are comfortable speaking, influencing, and negotiating with all different types of people and you know how to adapt your style to the situation.
  • At the end of the day – you want to make a difference and that is the hallmark of your sales approach.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience in Education Sales (STEM preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Eligibility to pass Motor Vehicle Records check.

 

Additional (non-mandatory) skills

  • The drive to meet or exceed challenging sales targets.
  • Experience working with technology in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence through relationships, expertise and information.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to adjust your message to suit the audience.
  • Experience in selling to the education space.
  • Background in STEM

 

Conditions

  • Base pay 50-60k per year plus generous commissions
  • Travel 50-70% of the time
