The Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics (Department of Music) has a vacancy for a PhD candidate in a project on music and eye-tracking. The project investigates relations between auditory features, attention, eye movements and pupil dynamics, and listeners’ aesthetic evaluation of music. The PhD candidate should be highly motivated to work in an interdisciplinary team and should have experience in experimental research, advanced statistical methods and computer programming.
