Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack
FREMONT, CA /ENGINEERING /FULL-TIME

Neuralink is developing ultra-high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces to connect humans and computers. We are building a team of multidisciplinary experts passionate about making a world-changing impact.

Engineers on the experimental software team work closely with other teams – neuroscientists, physicists, roboticists, chip designers, and mechanical engineers – to develop software for various projects. We’ve worked on everything from neural data APIs to high-frequency recording and processing pipelines to interactive in-browser visualizations to psychophysics task design. You will be collaborating with other teams, hunting down interesting projects, and carrying them through design, prototyping, and productionization.

• Resourceful, flexible and adaptable; no task is too big or too small.

Key qualifications:

• Evidence of exceptional ability in computer science.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Fluency in multiple major programming languages.
• Extensive experience with web development (backend + frontend), with frequent production releases.
• Experience gathering and building to requirements from multiple stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Rails, Typescript, React, or Postgres.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep knowledge of API design principles and best practices.
