Full-stack developer
Full Time (Allows Remote); Location: Oslo; No. of Vacancies: 1; Experience: 1 – 3

 

Drowzee’s mission is to contribute towards the elimination of chronic insomnia, using neurotechnology. We have an open spot for a hands-on Full-stack developer to join our team of ambitious and hard-working members. We have a modern tech stack and a focus on developer experience and speed:

  • Node.js server with a SQL database.
  • React Native app for UI and application flow
  • Brain signal processing pipeline (in the app) using JavaScript/ESNext.
  • Some post-analysis and machine learning with Python.
  • Microservices for things like authentication and file storage.

 

Role impact

  • Lead development and up scaling of our software product.
  • Streamline hardware sourcing and supplier operations.
  • Design and systematize product experiments and data collection.
  • Structure cross-functional collaboration with the neuroscience department.

Key qualifications

  • Experience with JavaScript and React (or similar frameworks).
  • Experience with designing and working with technical architecture.
  • Experience working with APIs to manipulate and show data.
  • Experience with Node.js and simple server setups.

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Interest in sleep/biohacking.
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience writing software that interacts with real-time hardware systems.
  • Ability to transform abstract goals into concrete engineering tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Interest in user experience and functional design.
