The Role

Rune Labs’ platform is used by researchers inside companies and institutions to create new therapies for Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation TMS and advance the neuroscience underlying these therapies. The main interface for these developers is Rune Labs’ open-sourced SDK (https://runeq.readthedocs.io/en/latest/).

As Head of Therapy Developer Relations at Rune Labs, you will:

• Understand our platform and SDK more deeply than anyone else, and be able to answer Therapy Developer questions about how to best use our platform to accomplish their goals
• Inspire and educate our Therapy Developers, and regularly field feedback about ways that we can improve the platform for them
• Write scalable content that gets Therapy Developers excited about using our platform and trying new features, ranging from blog posts to release notes.
• Build well-documented templates for developers to use to get jump-started (for example our Jupyter Notebooks (https://github.com/rune-labs/opensource)
• Work closely with our engineering team to create exceptional documentation for our Therapy Developer-facing SDK and API
• Work closely with our product team to continually make our platform better for Therapy Developers
• Work closely with our neuroscience team to maintain alignment between Therapy Developers and Rune Labs’ scientific goals
• Foster a sense of community with our therapy developers through strategic use of events, swag, and non-financial incentives (e.g. badges).
• Grow our developer base and own key metrics around developer engagement and growth

About you

• PhD or equivalent in Neuroscience, Neuroengineering, Bioengineering, Physiology, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python for scientific applications
• Have contributed directly to data capture, ingestion, and/or analysis for a clinical trial
• Excellent written communication and creative writing ability
• Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and/or collaborate between organizations
• Passionate about neuroscience and brain therapeutics
