Postdoctoral & PhD Positions – Yuval Nir Lab

DESCDRIPTION

Postdoctoral and Ph.D. positions at Yuval Nir’s Lab, Tel Aviv University, to study sensory processing across sleep, wakefulness and anesthesia. Projects will use cutting-edge electrophysiology tools in behaving rodents (e.g.neuropixels) to investigate how internal states modulate ongoing activity and auditory responses in thalamus and cortex.

Ambitious postdocs and Ph.D. students interested in pushing the frontlines of state-dependent sensory processing research.

SKILLS

• M.Sc/Ph.D. in neuroscience
• Electrophysiology experience
• Programming experience (Matlab/Python)
• Previous work in behaving animals
• Team Player and highly driven
