Position Title: Staff Scientist
Location: Cambridge, MA
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented Staff Scientist to join our Cambridge, MA Translational Research team. You would be responsible for managing the on-site research lab and conducting translational research from conceptualization through reporting.

Summary of Role
We are seeking a Staff Scientist to join our company who can help us design and conduct human subjects research. You will help conceptualize and collect human subject’s data that is aligned with the Translational Research team strategy. You will work with the Director of Translational Research to assist in study management tasks as delegated (e.g., IRB development, protocol development, participant recruitment, data collection, data analysis, and report writing), with a focus on providing support with data collection and analysis.
Deliverables
You will be responsible for:
- Developing study designs including writing IRBs and study protocols
- Study execution including planning, implementing and day-to-day execution of activities related to lab management and data collection
- Data cleaning and analysis to answer study hypotheses
- Writing research reports and manuscripts on study findings
- Managing and mentoring interns and junior scientists

Minimal Qualifications
- PhD or M.S. with 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Comprehensive understanding of designing and conducting human subject’s research, including in-depth understanding of research design and methodology
- Prior work in collecting and analyzing physiological assessments, especially EEG
- Intermediate understanding of basic psychological statistical methods and signal processing, including intermediate experience with Matlab and EEGLAB
- Experience programming and administering computerized psychological experiments on Eprime preferred
- Good communication skills; team player
