How much experience do you need?

Our arm is a $100,000 piece of equipment with 20+ joints, 15+ actuators, and hundreds of internal sensors. And requires FDA medical device clearance. You should have 10+ years experience playing in these worlds. Use your best judgment.

Who are you? 

A mechatronics engineer hungry to bring a new product to life.

• You’ve taken multiple products from concept to production in the past
• You have excellent mechatronics fundamentals
• You have a robotics background, or would love to gain one quickly
• You have extensive knowledge of a popular 3D CAD or similar software design system
• You are the Marie Kondo of product drawings, BOMs, documentation
• You have strong opinions about control systems
• The idea of using your skillset to help people in a profound way gets you excited.

What’s the day-to-day look like?

You’re primarily responsible for taking what our pre-clinical team learned, and turning it into a plan for a clinical prototype, then designing & building that clinical prototype. This will involve:

• Sketching, drawing, testing, documenting
• Researching & securing product materials
• Working closely with designers regarding form-factor
• Working closely with patients to deeply understand their feedback
• Working closely with me (hi I’m Tyler, the CEO) every day towards that goal
