Scientific Consultant – Sales

NIRx LLC is looking to hire an organized, resourceful, and highly-motivated professional for the position of Scientific Consultant.

NIRx is a small but rapidly-growing international neuroscience research solutions company with offices in Minneapolis, Los Angeles and NY and a subsidiary in Berlin (Germany). We specialize in high-end hardware and software used in brain imaging research.

You will be part of a young, dynamic and international team and in constant contact with academia. You will be listening to the neuroscience community and advising them on the best NIRx solution for their research goals. You will be providing feedback to the product development team based on the needs of the research world.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about science but does not necessarily want to stay in academia. Our ideal candidate should have a deep understanding and passion for fNIRS research and have experience with designing and conducting experiments and basic knowledge of data analysis. We are looking for someone who is a great communicator and a real team player.

Requirements

• Master’s/Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering or related field
• Experience working in neuroimaging; EEG, fMRI, and/or fNIRS would be preferred
• Team player with an outgoing personality that likes (or at least doesn’t mind) presenting to large groups
• Highly motivated, creative problem-solving skills, solutions-oriented mindset
• A love of science and openness to loving fNIRS!
• Willingness to travel, up to 30%
