POSTDOC OPPORTUNITY in Deouell Lab
Bridging Intracranial and Extracranial Signals in Humans
A postdoctoral position is available at the Human Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (HCNL) under the supervision of Prof. Leon Deouell. Our Lab investigates perceptual and occasionally also decision making process and their relation to conscious awareness. What determines whether an even is consciously available or not? What is the difference between processing with and without conscious awareness? We aim to investigate these questions using experimental psychology while employing multiple brain imaging modalities especially EEG combined with simultaneous eye tracking, intracranial ECOG, and fMRI.
The successful candidate will join a recently funded project trying to bridge the signals acquired using these different modalities.
Requirements:
- Candidates must hold a PhD degree in the field of cognitive neuroscience or a related discipline and have prior experience in human electrophysiology (EEG/MEG/ECOG).
- Experience with fMRI is an advantage.
- Candidates should be driven and able to work independently yet enjoy the collaborative spirit of the lab.
- Candidates should be proficient in English.
