Position Summary
Pear’s Product Management team is passionate about using our software experience to bring a new treatment modality to market in order to positively impact patients’ lives and the clinicians that support them. As the first company to bring Prescription Digital Therapeutics (PDT) products to market, our team has combined consumer-grade software best practices with those of the medical device industry in order to meet the high unmet needs of patients living with chronic diseases. We’re a close-knit, diverse, and inquisitive group that is constantly leveraging research and data, agile methodology, and clinical evidence to drive strategy and optimize the process of creating user-centered experiences in a regulated space. We approach all of our users with compassion and empathy in order to build products to best serve their needs.
Pear is looking for a Senior Product Manager with at least 5 years of software experience who is:
- Highly adept at collaborating across a wide range of disciplines including engineering, clinical, regulatory, marketing, service, design, and quality assurance.
- Naturally diplomatic with high emotional intelligence in order to bring out the best of your teammates’ diverse, cross-industry expertise in order to continually deliver value to patients, providers, and payors
- A strong team leader driving execution of software releases (e.g. writing user stories and managing the end-to-end execution of releases)
- A strong communicator of roadmap priorities strategically with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. facilitating clear discussions for defining complex ideas, constraints and interdependencies).
- Proactive in identifying and de-risking roadblocks, constraints, and changes to scope.
- Curious by nature, poking at problems from all angles in search for the best approach
- Experienced in working with Quality Management Systems in a regulated space.
- Comfortable with the natural ambiguity that comes with navigating a new market in a growing startup environment.
- Excited to lead and rally an “Innovation Team” in Substance Use Disorder and Opiate Use Disorder
This position is remote! We have offices in Boston, San Francisco and Raleigh and would welcome people that are in and around those geographical areas.
