Algorithms Engineer

Viz.ai is developing products that analyze CT scans and identify time-critical findings, such as stroke. We leverage the speed and accuracy of our algorithms to help connect the right patient to the right doctor at the right time, making sure patients get the life-saving treatment they need, when they need it.

Job Description:

As part of the Al team, you will:

• Develop AI products capable of running at scale (500+ hospitals) and handling real world production variability
• Translate product and clinical requirements to data driven metrics
• Develop data driven algorithms combining deep learning methods with classic computer vision/medical imaging techniques

If you’re excited about:

• Making an impact on a growing real world user base of 500+ hospitals
• In depth understanding of clinical aspects and data characteristics of the problem at hand
• Working in an exponentially growing startup environment

Requirements:

• People person, team player and strong can do mentality
• The successful candidate must have:
• 2+ years experience with Python
• Strong coding skills
• Experience in Deep Learning, and specifically DL for computer Vision problems
• Owner/Doer mentality
• Motivation to work on a product that makes a real positive impact
• Experience in delivery and maintenance of an algorithm in production

The following are a big plus:

• Additional experience as a software developer
• Experience with medical imaging
• MsC/PhD in a scientific field

Location:

We are located in San Francisco and Tel Aviv. This position is based in Tel Aviv.

Our office in Tel-Aviv is located in Menachem Begin 150, within walking distance of Arlozorov and Ha’Shalom train stations.
