Artinis is hiring a software developer who is enthusiastic and driven by innovative biomedical software development for desktops and wearables. Based on the architecture, requirements and graphical designs you will develop and implement new features, designs, innovative algorithms and resolve issues in our software. You ensure these are well implemented by code testing and review. Based on project briefings, schedule and established objectives you will work with your team in accordance with project requirements considering all characteristics of the software including safety. You will be joining the software team of the research and development group and will strongly collaborate with other disciplines as embedded, electrical and biomedical engineers and (GUI) designers as well as with our sales team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Requirements analysis, specification and implementation
- Code writing in C++
- Code review and testing
- Design and test documentation
- Software maintenance
- Contributing to improvement proposals for software
QUALIFICATIONS
- Programming skills in OOP such as C++, C# or Java
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Understanding of tools and technology
- At least HBO/Bachelor degree in software engineering or related area
- Team player skills for a multidisciplinary team
- Verbal and written communication skills
Extra qualifications are desired for:
- Knowledge of .NET, XML Style sheet transformations, C and network communication
- Experience in medical software development or other regulated business
- Mobile app development (iOS and Android) or Smartwatch app development (wearOS or Xamarin)
