Our mission is to give people the ability to control their mental state on demand and we do that by developing the most advanced background music to enhance daily activities.

Our music is created by combining our patented AI engine and human composers together. This process has been tested to change phase-lock patterns across the brain, to help be the extra nudge you need to achieve a desired mental state while still being something you enjoy listening to.

Backed by scientific research and testing, we have been recognized by NSF grants and collaborate with some of the world’s leading scientists in auditory, neuroscience and psychology.

We have over 150,000+ users and growing quickly… And we’re looking for an innovative and collaborative software developer to join our fast-growing engineering team. Our cross-functional product team is made up of software engineers, data scientists, product managers, designers, and music composers, all working collaboratively to deliver on our roadmap vision to make a massive dent in the brain performance industry.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• As part of an agile team, participate in all phases of the software engineering life cycle
• Develop next-generation web applications and products
• Perform problem analysis and propose solutions for given business scenarios
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Ensure that necessary technical documentation is maintained in an appropriate manner

Who You Are:

• Passionate about joining a company with a vision to change the brain performance industry
• 3+ years of full stack engineering experience in high-quality environments
• Extensive experience with Javascript, specifically Node.js, React, and React-Native.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
• Proven execution delivering on performance targets and key operational metrics.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness and urgency to consistently set and meet deadlines.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Documents their work clearly for other devs to share knowledge and help improve team processes

Nice to have

• Native iOS or Android development experience
• Engineering experience in a fast growing startup environment
• A good eye for UI/UX

Flexible location:

Based out of New York, however, remote work options are available.
