We are hiring a Senior Accountant who will be an integral part of our accounting team. The Senior Accountant will play a significant role in ensuring the Company’s financial statements are maintained in a complete and accurate manner and will assist with operational accounting functions including reporting, compliance, and procurement activities.

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping in Quickbooks to keep the accounting records up to date.
- Perform month end close procedures for balance sheet accounts including capital assets, leases, accrued liabilities, accounts payable, payroll liabilities, bank and credit card accounts.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliation workbooks to support balances reported.
- Assist with tax filing calculations, reconciliations, and payment remittances for California sales and use tax, Alameda County and SF property tax, and 1099 preparation.
- Assist in the daily activities of accounting and financial operations.
- Reconcile bank and credit card transactions in Quickbooks.
- Input invoices into bill.com and reconcile with procurement software
- Review and approve expensify transactions semi-monthly
- Process invoices received from vendors in bill.com and setup for vendor pay-runs.
- Work with management in enhancing FP&A function through financial modeling and KPI tracking.
- Collaborate with the procurement and finance team to find ways to drive efficiencies in the organization, reduce manual processes, and implement strong internal controls to prevent error in the procurement process.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CPA designation
- 5+ years experience with a mix of accounting firm and industry experience.
- Big 4 accounting firm experience a plus.
- Experience working in other technology companies is a plus.
- Experience with bill.com, Quickbooks, Procurify is an asset
- Strong Excel skills
