Job Title: Immunology and Inflammation Senior Research Associate

JOB SUMMARY

The senior research associate will be a member of a newly established Immunology and Inflammation team charged with validating new targets derived from Kallyope’s single cell sequencing platform. The senior research associate will be responsible for assay development for target engagement and validation. Candidates should be highly motivated with extensive hands on experience in immunology/inflammation research. Successful candidates must be able to work effectively both in a collaborative setting and independently while possessing outstanding written, visual and oral communications skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development, validation and execution of primary immune cell assays
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, cross-functional team
• Clearly communicate experimental results and compile data into comprehensive reports

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

You must have:

• A Masters degree or a Bachelor degree with 4+ years relevant research experience
• Experience in working with immune cells
• Experience with multicolor flow cytometry analysis

Additional preferred experience includes:

• Direct drug discovery experience a plus
• Mucosal immunology skill set highly desired
