Position Overview: 

iMotions is searching for a driven, customer-oriented Product Specialist with a consultative mindset and passion for technology to join our growing team. As a Product Specialist, you’ll empower research teams at world-leading universities and corporations to achieve their goals by aligning our software, hardware, and service solutions to their needs. You’ll do this by becoming an expert in all aspects of the iMotions software and associated partner hardware tools, providing front-line support to our sales team as an application scientist. You will leverage your expertise to deliver product demonstrations, consultation, and workshops onsite to our clients, facilitate internal knowledge sharing, and conduct research and development in conjunction with our product management team. This position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. The ideal candidate must be able to live in or commute to Copenhagen, this is not a remote position.

 

Essential Duties:

Sales Engineering:
  • Become a product expert in the groundbreaking iMotions Biosensor Research Platform, and the associated hardware of our integrated partners.
  • Provide front-line sales support by delivering product demonstrations and providing key scientific expertise to prospective clients in the higher education and commercial sectors
Client Enablement
  • Plan and facilitate training workshops with clients virtually or on-site, ranging in content from lectures to setup and installation, best practices, and research design.
  • Lecture and consult with clients at our In-House Academies, Biosensor Bootcamps, and other client service events
  • Provide custom consultation and services to individual clients in collaboration with the Client Solutions and Customer Success Teams
Application Science
  • Deliver and organize actionable, well-organized and high- quality technical and scientific information to the organization
  • Perform product testing and validation, producing testing plans in conjunction with product management, conduct testing, summarize and report results.
Thought Leadership
  • Leverage your scientific expertise to create compelling and informative external content including blog posts, sample studies, webinars and speaking engagements
  • Represent iMotions at research conferences
  • Keep up to date with industry thinking and market segments, and provide feedback for enhancements and future market opportunities to fill product issues and gaps or extend competitive advantage.  

 

Qualifications:

  • Masters or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, bioengineering, neuromarketing, computer science or comparable areas. Bachelors’ degrees with sufficient hands-on experience also considered.
  • Demonstrated experience with EEG is a priority, but any experience with biosensors such as eye tracking, EEG, ECG, EMG, GSR, facial expression analysis or similar technologies is also desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for teaching, the ability to clearly communicate both via phone and in written format to some of the sharpest minds in the world.
  • Signal processing or experience manipulating data; expertise in a coding language such as R, Matlab, Python or C+ a definite plus
  • Hands-on research experience with setting-up experiments, collecting data, analysis and interpretation of data, either in an academic or commercial setting
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Professional, client-driven, proactive, and energized by working in an entrepreneurial environment where you have the opportunity to impact business growth.
  • Results-oriented team player, holds him or herself accountable for performance, takes absolute ownership, and champions all aspects of technical knowledge sharing.
  • Willingness to travel – 10% minimum
