As an Associate specialist for Mood and Performance group, and with your experience or interest in nutrition research and clinical substantiation, you will Conceive and lead highly collaborative research activities to develop innovative concepts for acute mood and cognition benefits in the general population.
A day in the life of an Associate specialist for Mood and Performance group
- Proactively collaborate with different research teams within Nestlé
- Execute scientific activities to support benefit substantiation
- Plan & execute internal and external clinical research activities, including protocol writing
- Training and coaching of technicians and trainees in group
- Propose new ideas around mood and cognition benefits
- Evaluate and implement innovative technologies & digital tools in alignment with group objectives
- Identify partners and KOLs for collaboration
- Contribute to scientific communication material, patents, and peer-reviewed publications
- Present ideas, findings and updates to department and project stakeholders
What will make you successful
- PhD in Psychophysiology, Psychology, Neuropsychology, Neurosciences or equivalent with expertise in real-time assessment of emotional state in humans
- 1-2 years of research experience after doctoral degree
- Deep and broad knowledge of methodologies for mood & cognitive performance assessments in adults, experience with home-based approaches is a plus
- Experience with experimental task development and psychological test development
- Experience with wearable systems and digital health approaches in the context of emotional wellbeing
- Strong hands-on experience with clinical trial design, neurophysiological recording systems (e.g., Biosemi, Biopac), softwares for stimulus presentation (e.g., E-Prime), cognitive testing (e.g., COMPASS) and data neurophysiological processing (e.g., AcqKnowledge)
- Programming skills is a plus
- Highly motivated and independent, with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
