About the Role
The Clinical Specialist is responsible for delivering in-field product and clinical training to support end-users of NovaSignal products focusing on Clinical Research site support. This position will work closely with the head of the Medical Science Department along with the Medical Education and Commercial teams, to ensure support of research enrollment goals at hospital sites, successful end-user product and clinical training with a goal of overall business success and customer satisfaction.
As the Senior CRA, you will
- Deliver detailed product and clinical training to external customers on NovaSignal products.
- Drive Clinical Research site enrollment through device training and case support to meet study goals.
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional departments about device feedback and technical issues collected in the field and report according to company SOP’s.
- Act as the point of contact for technical, clinical and product training questions on NovaSignal products.
- Travel to customer sites to deliver training/education and case support to ensure end-user success and overall satisfaction with the use of NovaSignal products.
- Utilize product and clinical knowledge to effectively position features and capabilities that represent solutions to customer needs.
- Utilize clinical knowledge to train customers on execution of NovaSignal clinical study protocols in clinical settings.
- Perform TCD exams.
What you bring
- B.A./B.S. Degree in ultrasonography, nursing, life sciences, or specific technical discipline
- 5+ years’ work experience in the field of neurosonology or vascular sonology, within a hospital/clinic setting or medical device industry providing technical / clinical support.
- Active RVT, ARDMS certification; NVS certification highly desirable.
- Proven track record of technical training assignments and presenting.
- Thorough understanding of TCD clinical applications including all TCD diagnostic examination.
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Ability to work with Healthcare professionals and understand Medical Terminology.
- Understanding of good patient bedside manners.
- Required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise.
- Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, and visually able to interact with personal computers.
- Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds up to common desk level.
