Job Description

Be a part of making a difference in next-gen health technology breakthroughs.

Vielight will shortly launch a landmark neurotech wearable device that requires a product coordinator with skills to help organize and execute the launch, as well as lend operational support and management of a community of customers.

We are looking for a proactive candidate with a strong scientific or technical background, with an interest in new wearable neurotechnology. This position also requires strong communication and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will be one who can respond in the best interest of the company. Relevant experience in customer service, logistics, and operations will be an advantage. The candidate should also be flexible enough to support other functions across the company.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Vielight’s Performance Science and Research Manager on product support and promotion of the device
  • Coordinate backend support for online events (webinars/training sessions/promotional events)
  • Coordinate to ensure the successful execution of operational plans
  • Coordinate, promote and manage a customer forum for users, including social network
  • Liaise with customers and key opinion leaders to gain product/customer insights that support marketing and device development
  • Track customer and product insight data to share with marketing and engineering teams
  • Provide customer service and technical support via phone, video conferencing, online chat, email, and online support forum
  • Coordinate with logistics, fulfilment, and operations departments to ensure product availability on time and according to requirements
  • Must have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally to 1+ conferences per month (when travelling is permissible)

 

General Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of the product and customers, as well as execute operational and logistical tasks
  • Provide customer service and coordination of technical support
  • Interact with customers to understand product requirements clearly
  • Work with the quality, regulatory affairs, engineering, and marketing teams
  • Support the execution of promotional plans
  • Participate in trade shows and other events

 

Desired Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in health/medical/neuroscience related discipline
  • Understanding of and interest in neuroscience and neurotechnology will be an advantage
  • Well-organized, diligent, and analytical with strong task and time-management abilities
  • Able to deal with a rapidly changing environment
  • Relevant work experience and strong interest in product management and relevant operations, including front and back office experience
  • Involvement in previous product launches
  • Tech savvy and able to learn new technological products on the go
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management software (Wrike and Monday preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, and other online platforms
  • Must live in the greater Toronto area
